Project name

Installation of fiber optics in Brazzaville and Pointe-Noire as part of the PEEDU project

The Water, Electricity and Urban Development Project (PEEDU), initiated by the Government of the Republic of Congo and co-financed by the World Bank, aims to improve sustainable access to essential services in targeted areas of Brazzaville and Pointe-Noire. BUROTOP IRIS played a key role in implementing this project, deploying over 120 km of urban optical fiber and high-voltage power cables. The project, carried out in two phases, also included the installation of dozens of transformers and the rehabilitation or reconstruction of the necessary electrical sites.

Thanks to this initiative, BUROTOP IRIS has helped to modernize basic infrastructures, improving access to drinking water and electricity for urban populations.
