The Burotop Iris Foundation took part in the official launch of “Mwasi Telema”, a new credit scheme to promote women’s entrepreneurship, supported by Banque Postale du Congo. For this first edition, seven women entrepreneurs were selected to benefit from both financial and material support, enabling them to structure and grow their businesses. This is a concrete step towards a shared ambition: to make women’s economic inclusion a lever for transformation for society as a whole.

Mwasi Telema” is about more than just numbers, it’s about a clear vision. Encouraging women’s economic autonomy, facilitating their access to the financial system and supporting projects capable of generating a lasting impact: these are the ambitions set out by the initiative’s partners. In a context where women’s entrepreneurship is still hampered by numerous obstacles, this type of program appears to be a pragmatic and hopeful response.

By joining this dynamic, the Burotop Iris Foundation confirms its commitment to concrete actions in favor of development and economic emancipation. It’s no coincidence that the Foundation has made the empowerment and support of talent one of the guiding principles of its work. With “Mwasi Telema”, an entire ecosystem is set in motion to remind us of the obvious: when women take the initiative, the whole of the Congo moves forward.
