As part of the “Conversation” program, Issa Attye, Deputy CEO of MBTP and BUROTOP IRIS, reflects on his journey as an entrepreneur, his vision of leadership, and the values that have shaped his professional experience.

An economist by training, specializing in finance, Issa Attye comes from a family of merchants. Having settled in the Congo in the early 2000s, he found an environment conducive to entrepreneurship and development there, choosing to view the challenges of a country in the process of rebuilding as opportunities and prospects for growth.

As the head of a group that now has more than 3,000 employees, he advocates a management approach based on high standards, rigor, quality, and the development of human capital. For him, success also depends on the ability to delegate, to trust his teams, and to learn from the challenges encountered along the entrepreneurial journey.
