Burotop Iris was honored to be selected by the Ivorian authorities, in particular by the Projet d’Assainissement et de Résilience Urbaine (PARU), to design and implement an emergency response system in the autonomous district of Abidjan. As the CEO of Burotop Iris, Mr Issa Attye, reminded us, in order to anticipate the safety of all, risk management in urban environments remains a crucial challenge for all countries.
Based on this premise, and in conjunction with ONPC, GSPM and SPC-DAA, Burotop Iris organized and implemented a training of trainers program with a rich content for 120 Ivorian Civil Protection agents (military firefighters, police officers, gendarmes, etc.).
In addition to the transfer of knowledge, a genuine sharing of experience took place between participants from different entities.
On the same theme, 76 pupils in a 5th grade class at a secondary school in Adjame were also sensitized, as will soon be 2,500 pupils in Abidjan.

As the young generations of Côte d’Ivoire are the future, they have the mental capacity to embrace and integrate best practices in this field.

All participants were then tasked with taking the training to local players and communities.
